What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (via Site Kit) to understand which guides people read. Data is aggregated; IP anonymization is enabled.
- Email address — only if you subscribe to our newsletter. Used solely to send it; unsubscribe with one click in any email.
- Contact messages. If you email us, we keep the correspondence to reply to you.
- Cookies. Used by analytics and by affiliate networks to attribute purchases (that’s how commissions work). Our cookie banner lets you decline non-essential cookies.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone for their marketing.
- Collect payment information — purchases happen on retailers’ sites under their privacy policies.
Third parties
When you click through to a retailer (e.g., Amazon), their privacy policy governs from that point. Affiliate networks may set attribution cookies as described above.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA), you may request access to or deletion of your personal data. Email beforeyoubuyguide@gmail.com and we’ll comply within 30 days.
